Formerly SF57, now SF591

Sponsors: Sens. Tom Shipley (R-Nodaway) and Dan Dawson (R-Council Bluffs)

Status: Survived the first legislative funnel! Passed by Agriculture Committee by 10/3 vote

IVCA: This is the least impactful companion animal cruelty bill currently at the Capitol. IVCA would like to see amendments to make this a more robust bill, or simply have the Senate prioritize SF369
